I wrote this PowerShell function to change drive letters with PowerShell and DiskPart. Other methods posted online utilize the Win32_Volume WMI class which is not available in Windows XP. Using DiskPart makes the function compatible with Windows XP/2003 as well as Vista/2008/7.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to go outside at night and use the telescope. The frigid Wisconsin weather seems to stick around for as long as it wills. I haven’t even had a chance to check out The Great Orion Nebula this Winter, one of my favorite views.

The 2008 PimpYourScope.com Astronomy Wall Calendar was a calendar I made for a website I never really got off the ground. The calendar did a great job of visually showing daily meteor shower activity and more. I always wanted to create another one but it took a lot of time! You may download the PDF here.
